Popular Types of Arm Lift Surgeries

There are several different types of arm lift, or brachioplasty procedure available depending on your needs and physical condition:

  • Arm Liposuction - Removing fat through liposuction from the arms.  The procedure may be sufficient for patients with arm skin that has retained its elasticity, and has not been damaged by sun, smoking, ageing, or weight loss.
  • Minimal Incision Arm Lift/Limited Arm Lift - A minimal incision arm lift with incisions where the inner, upper arm joins the armpit.  This procedure is usually appropriate for patients with only a small amount of excess skin located near the arm pit.
  • Extended Arm Lift - Other patients, especially those who have lost a great deal of weight through bariatric surgery, normally require an extended arm lift procedure. The incisions for this procedure varies depending on the extent of the surgery.

During your consultation, you and Dr. Agha will discuss available options and recommendation as to how best to make sure your arms looks as sleek and tight as possible.
